Inspired by portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama
This Spring, on a visit to my relatives in Washington, I had opportunity to view artist Amy Sherald’s official portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama in the National Portrait Gallery, which is very popular. Upon viewing it in person, I thought, Her fingernails looks so cool.” I got up close and photographed a section of the painting, which I used to make this interpretation of part of the original portrait.
