After reading Christopher McDougal’s bestselling book “Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Super Athletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen” and communicating via the Internet with featured personality “Barefoot Ted,” for more than seven years now, I have run in hand-made huaraches consisting of two 1/16″ vibram rubber soles topped with leather and two shoestrings.
